Artist Spotlight: Barbara Weissberger

February 21, 2018

Many of the pieces by Barbara Weissberger in our current exhibition, Pedestrian Rules, were also featured in a collaborative show with artist Eleanor Aldrich entitled Dirty Work. The two artists met through the Drawing Sessions program at The Drawing Center in NYC, and since 2014 they have worked on several collaborative installations together. Weissberger and Aldrich share an interest in materiality, tensions between illusion and reality, and the concept of artistic labor.
